Our practice evolved as we learned what genuine transformation requires – and what episodic workshops cannot deliver.
We started over 20 years ago as ProMeet – expert facilitators running workshops for leadership teams. We evolved into Serious Outcomes – strategic partners designing transformation journeys that build capability, not dependency.
Along the way, we’ve authored five books, trained 3,000 facilitators worldwide, and learned that complex challenges can’t be solved in one-off workshops. They require sustained partnerships that address strategy, leadership, and culture systemically.
Today we work with organisations facing challenges that resist conventional solutions, helping them build the capability to navigate complexity independently.
We built our reputation designing and facilitating powerful workshops for leadership teams across sectors – creating engagement, unlocking insight, enabling productive conversation.
But we kept seeing the same pattern: excellent workshops, temporary impact, eventual reversion to old patterns.
Something was missing.
We discovered LEGO® Serious Play® and recognised its potential for making systems thinking tangible. We developed the SeriousWork Systems Thinking Model©, trained facilitators globally, and published four books on methodology.
The work deepened. But we realised even the best facilitation couldn’t create lasting capability without sustained practice and strategic integration.
For 20 years, we have been outcome driven. Our focus now is buiding partnerships to address strategic challenges whilst developing your systems thinking capability.
The name change reflects what we’ve always been committed to: not just powerful sessions, but serious outcomes that persist.
We create Serious Outcomes.
LEGO® Serious Play® makes invisible systems visible through physical building.
The Fifth Discipline provides the strategic framework that transforms experience into transferable knowledge.
Dialogue creates the reflective depth that transforms understanding into behavioural change.
Together, they develop the four human intelligences AI cannot replicate: individual meaning-making, relational trust, collective wisdom, and systems intelligence.
THE SYSTEMS SYNERGY documents this discovery – ten years of practice making systems thinking operational, not aspirational.
Take our Strategic Pattern Diagnostic to identify whether your challenge requires capability building, strategic facilitation, or integrated transformation.
Most organisational challenges show up through symptoms—strategy that doesn’t stick, leadership that struggles with complexity, or culture that resists change. Our 20-minute assessment helps you understand the systemic nature of your challenge and the most effective pathway forward.
A 20-minute team assessment revealing whether your challenges require systems thinking or traditional approaches.
